ENTRANCE EXAM - Saturday, March 2

This Saturday, March 2 Applied Technology High School Ajman will hold its first round of entrance exams. The exam will be one part Math based and one part English based. The examination begins at 9:30 sharp, but please arrive early in order for you to be processed and assigned a designated exam room. There will be plenty of staff available to help you with any questions you might have and parents will be provided with refreshments and a presentation about IAT's Applied technology High Schools. Be sure to bring your original ID (both passport or Emirates ID accepted).  So come on down and check us out! Click here to register online and if you have any problems, don't worry. IIT@IAT Comes to Ajman

You might be asking yourself right now, just what is IIT@IAT? Well, allow me to introduce you to one of the one of the most exciting programs offered to students anywhere in the United Arab Emirates.  Industrial Internship Training @ IAT is a period of unpaid work experience in a company for up to 8 weeks during the summer break, either within the borders of the UAE or at places around the word. ATHS students have completed internships at places such as Nuclear Power Plants in South Korea or NASA in the United States, home to the world’s most renowned space program. Locally some of the UAE's most successful companies are also eager to take on young interns from ATHS. The Program provides you with the opportunity to gain integrated real-life work experience and to learn to adopt work ethics and appropriate conduct in the workplace. Most of all, you can have a chance to put the knowledge and skills you learn at ATHS into practice. ATHS Arrives in Ajman

Finally, IAT's Applied Technology High School has come to the Emirate of Ajman. True UAE pioneer's in the field of education, IAT's ATHS has been serving the Emirati community for the better part of a decade. The Institute of Applied Technology was founded in 2005 through a Royal decree of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, as a corporate body with full financial and administrative independence. The establishment of the Institute was an initiative of General Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. His Highness envisioned IAT as a world class Career-Technical Education system that would produce the scientists, engineers, and technicians needed for the UAE to build a knowledge-based economy. 

Over the years, the program has blossomed into an institute like non other in the country. With internship placements, both at home and around the world, community service programs, extended learning opportunities, student academic mentoring and international benchmark assessments, there is no other educational provider in the United Arab Emirates that can compare with the opportunities ATHS students are given. Furthermore, in terms of internship opportunities, the renowned IIT@IAT program may be the only one of its kind in the world.
